Meet the Doctor

Dr. Bodo Schachtschneider, originally from Germany, immigrated to San Diego in 1961 with his parents and two siblings. The family settled in Encinitas, where Dr. Schachtschneider discovered surfing at Swami's Beach—a passion he continues to pursue today.
He pursued his education in the United States, earning a Bachelor of Science degree before obtaining his Doctor of Chiropractic degree with the highest honors, Magna Cum Laude, in 1986. That same year, he became a licensed chiropractor.
Dr. Schachtschneider started his large family chiropractic practice in San Diego in 1986 and relocated to Carlsbad in 2013, acquiring Beach Cities Chiropractic, which is now known as Beach City Chiropractic. His dedication to chiropractic care spans several decades, focusing on patient health and well-being.
He specializes in treating a wide range of spinal and joint conditions, including neck and back pain, sprains, and the musculoskeletal injuries. His expertise also includes providing nutritional guidance, rehabilitation and caring for a diverse clientele—families, children, the elderly, pregnant women, and individuals involved in auto accidents or managing disabilities.
